Limited-service restaurant

Item 8 of the table in section 8 of Part 2 of LIN 19/049 specifies that the nominated occupation of chef in item 210 of the table in section 7 of Part 2 of IMMI 19/049 does not apply to an identified person where the position is in a limited-service restaurant.

According to the definition in the relevant instrument, a limited-service restaurant includes the following:

● a fast food or takeaway food service;
● a fast-casual restaurant;
● a drinking establishment that offers only a limited food service;
● a limited-service cafe, including a coffee shop or mall cafe;
● a limited-service pizza restaurant.
